@official02 do the agency in the Philippines requires you to pay to be a scholar in the iron program of monash? if they are requiring you to pay [COLOR=#454545]AUD$12,500 +GST (total AUD$13,750), then its not really a scholarship grant because it is the actual costs and the usual range of IRON program in aus. What I am saying IS THAT THE SCHOLARSHIP GRANT AD IS MISLEADING, instead of taking time applying for that so called scholarship, which is not really a scholarship grant i think, why not apply directly to the uni offering IRON- saves time and effort.
Hello Mae,
First of, I would like to commend you for having a skeptical attitude, that would serve you well when dealing with agents. Ask ask ask. It was earlier pointed out that there are bad apples and good ones and without any intent on advertising for the company, I would like to put your mind at ease that the company is legit, I have visited their office in person. There is a physical entity here to offer support for their clients.
Monash University does little to advertise their bridging programme as they have tasked a partner agency to conduct the screening and recruitment process for them. I was told that the decision of who gets a scholarship rests with Monash Uni itself. If the agency is asking you for payment then chances are, you were not granted the scholarship and that's just all there is to it.
In a business sense [theoretically], Monash can grant scholarships easily (considering how wealthy the organization is), what's one or two or even a dozen? By doing this the uni places itself out there and lets the agency do the talking and screening for them as surely there will be more than a dozen people who will listen as to why go Monash uni... and it's not just the IRON that Monash can offer. In return, Monash grants the agency exclusivity and a finder's fee for any applicants who will pay the full fee (theoretically). In addition to this, the agency offers ancillary services which the students can use, they make profit from, and ultimately get the student into Monash's programme. A brilliant model if you ask me.

Hello! I just want to know if you already received your LOE...

I keep on failing the IELTS here in sydney , I'll give the OET a shot. Thank you very much . Godbless!
hey guys, I have a question.
If Ahpra assess my application and give me Level 6 of AQF, although my qualification is bachelors degree in south Korea, then they may recommend me to taking Bridging course, right? and after then, they consider my degree as an equal bachelors degree of AUS?
In this case, can i get a point 15 for the Bachelors degree in skilled independent immigration point test
or 10 points for the qualification recognised by the assessing authority in the assessment of the skilled occupation.
I have a bit of confusion, as I have understood that bachelors degree, 3years experience in 10years, and AHPRA process done, bridging course finished can lead the 189 visa process, but if immigration recognise my degree not as a bachelors but RN qualification In Australia. the point is not enough, only 55.
does this mean that if your result of AGOS-40 is level 7 of AQF only can get through the 189 visa process without having any additional point evidence.
Please fill me in corrected information.
thanks.

hi chocopay, if i may.. Education qualification for immigration is decided by ANMAC as our assessing authority not by AHPRA. SO if your going to be referred to bridging program by ahpra which only after that you can apply for anmac assessment then we will see what anmac will grant you, but hopefully it will be bachelors degree so you will get the 15 points.
Hello everyone! I would like to ask help from you on how I could find out about who my case officer is? I filed my application last August 2014 wherein they have received completed documents on the 28th of the same month. I'd like to follow up on my application since its almost 3 months since I filed it. I don't know who to contact in AHPRA for this matter since no officer has e-mailed me yet. Thank you very much. :))

No. Not yet.
And yes, that's the actual price but if you will be the recipient of the scholarship, that 12,500AUD, of course, would be NIL. Not to make myself sound like a marketer of the agency. Haha.
