I've tried IELTS last year and didn't achieve the all 7 band. I took the OET 4 months later and with 2 weeks of preparation I passed it in one sitting. :) OET is a profession based exam, if you focused yourself on the review and acquired enough strategies on how to answer the exam then probably you'll pass. The only thing is that OET is more expensive than IELTS. :)

Where did you take your OET?

Did you review for it?

If ever, where did you review for OET?

Thanks!!

I did the exam here in Saudi Arabia. I would recommend Academy Australasia for the review centre, I just attended their class for 2 weeks and immediately took the exam a week after I arrived here in KSA. Most of my friends/classmates took the exam there in the PHL.

What will happen if they didn't waive the bridging program?

applicants will undergo a bridging program.

i lodged mine August a year ago, and i received my LOE last December. I've been preparing for the bridging program( financially);) until now.

i only have 2 years experience.

Tenks. In short u were not affected by the new changes. Good

it's been 8weeks since i submitted my application to ahpra nsw. Reg officer said my papers already with national team for review. Anyway hoping we all get our LOE soon.

As for people asking about OET, i took OET as well last march 29, SG. after failing to get AC 7 of ielts last yr, so anyone planning to take the exam please let me know i can share with you my review materials for free.
