I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
hi to all of you.. I am new here and I just learned that AHPRA releases a new requirements for registration.. I already have a 2 years working experience but now their requirements become 3 years.. I have previous volunteer experience but do they count that as an experience? Please give me more information regarding this and the other additional requirements.. Thanks so much..
Regarding the new model for assessing IQNMs, i just received an email from AHPRA today to provide an evidence for criteria 2,3 and 8 respectively. I did some researched and found out that PAASCU (Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities) is a service organization that accredits academic programs which meet standards of quality education. It focused more on accreditation of programs offered by different educational providers. It is also recognized by CHED and have an international affiliation. I will submit the attached format given to me by AHPRA and first,I will let the university where i gained my qualification as recognized by CHED. Second, I will submit the other form to PAASCU for them to fill-up that my school was having approved program of study during the time I attended the course.
ANMAC is only for immigration purposes if you already have a PR visa then you do not need ANMAC, you do however need registration with AHPRA. Your assessment by AHPRA will be a difficult one and expensive as all Fiipino RNS do a bridging program, unless you have been working in the UK USA or Canada.
actually, since mtruzan17 has a PR, she is eligible for FEE-HELP loan. You just have to make sure that you study in an approved provider. See this link: FEE-HELP - Study Assist
Well, yah..my mum who's doing everything in my behalf went to ched to no success, that's even with endorsement letter from my school. On the other hand, paascu assisted my mum and they seem to know what they're doing. Ahpra should be receiving those documentation next week. So I'll let you know..

Thanks for the info my mom is also the one fixing all pending transactions on my behalf as well... @reindeguzman, where did you submitted your AHPRA application? AHPRA NSW provided me a pdf copy of an endorsement letter from them and format of letters for the educational institution and accreditation body wherein they will just follow the format. The school will transact with CHED and I advised my mom to visit PAASCU since they accredited the program of study (nursing degree) during the time I have attended the course. Another thing is how long is the processing of the document in PAASCU? TIA! :)

@ceridwyn.... Thanks a lot, really appreciate it!
Yes, its kind of difficult esp. that NMBA uses a new assessment model effective 10th Feb. 2014. But hopefully, everything will be sorted out particulary the documentation/certification sending by the accredited third parties (which right now is in limbo as to which entity who will send what ... PRC/BON/Ched/Pac...).
