Hi pinkmarj,I am sorry, but I never got the chance to be interviewed online (via skype or even phone call). When I applied online on IHNA, at the end of the submission of docs, they have choices on taking the interview now or later, I clicked now and to my surprise it was a 20-item-questions for 10 minutes time pressured.
But then, after few minutes of answering all of it, I received an email stating I passed the interview. When the admission officer called me, they mentioned that I already passed the interview (they are referring to the online exam). :yelclap: The exam is similar to the Board Exam questions. More on psychology, like.. "Among the statements of the patient, which is the one that describes her as having anorexia.. " Also medications, like morphine and some diuretics effects.. Goodluck mate!! You can do it!!
Hey prinxoxo.
When did you take that online "interview"? And do you think that the intake for January is already full?

hi mbtarn,
i did that online exam about.. 1st week of july. i would suggest that you try to apply online first to know if they still have slots. anyways, they never asked me to pay for application fee, so just submit your application first and let them assess everything. it's also better to call them by yourself because they will provide you all the infos needed. they are very nice also on all inquiries.
Hi I'm new here. Can you help me regarding the bridging program?
Hi, Here is the link of the previous thread that I think would be very very useful for a newbie like you:

You just have to be patient on reading one by one of this thread, because most of the successful applicants here shares and goes through this process.
@pringxoxoThank you for the info.. I would just like to ask if there is a state in Australia that accepts an ielts result of 6.5 in reading and writing. Thank you
Hi bambamtiger15,
Based on some posts here, there are some states in Au who accept lower than 7 in IELTS. I am just not sure where, but I would suggest that you try IELTS one more time. Because I'm afraid, even though AHPRA accepts it, you will have difficulties on your docs later on. As far as my school hunting for BP is concerned, almost all of them require each subtest to be 7. Its better to be safe than to spend a lot of money and time with nothing.. You can also call AHPRA personally and ask them.
There are offices of AHPRA in each state, however the requirements for english are 7 in IELTS in all subtests in onesitting are the requirements for international nurses from countries that are not english as first language countries.
There was a loophole last year up to september 2011, that has been stopped, that is from the time applicants here speak of not having their IELTS, but then not being accepted for a BP school and then not being able to apply for a long term business visa so that they can stay and work.
hi everyone, there is the latest list of program approved by ahpra and it was published today.
and there are some program will be "inactive" soon, plz meet the link below.
this is really important! i've got a lof info here , hope this might help all of you:)
