Meeting AHPRA requirements as a International Trained Nurse from the Philippines

Published

Hi! ajlynx16 and pringxoxo i read in the previous thread that you both are in for the january 2013 intake of ihna melbourne. I passed all the necessary documents and my application is now on the department who realeses the offer letter.I also read that prior to receiving the offer letter, you both undergone to a skype interview, how was it? Was it a formal interview that I still need to wear a business attire of some sort? What are the next steps? How many weeks did they give you before you comply with all requirements (e.g tf, visa, etc). Could you share some info regarding good accommodations around the area? I applied for Acfe's intake on january 2013 and my skype interview will be on the 19th. Did anyone applied for that intake also? How was the interview? I started with a consultancy firm but it seems that they dont update me with my bp school applic and they are too preoccupied with assisting other applicants. Sadly, i wasted one month of sensless waiting... So i decided that im doing this on my own :) others have succeeded their way without the help of such firm... im sure as hell i can do it on my own too :)

Oh and for those who are still BP hunting like me, dont hesitate to email me at [email protected] :) thanks :)

We just had an orientation with the owner of ACFE 2 weeks ago, and as what I understood their intake will be every month starting next year.

Really? How can we confirm that? And is it really 12,500?

I see. Which intake is still available? When did you call them? As of the moment, how much is the tuition fee?

TF is getting higher especially UNISA. Philman said they can lend money for the tuition fee. I'll go there on tuesday.

AAON and Uni of Ballarat are the same right? They're under the same administration?

Hi pinkmarj,

I am sorry, but I never got the chance to be interviewed online (via skype or even phone call). When I applied online on IHNA, at the end of the submission of docs, they have choices on taking the interview now or later, I clicked now and to my surprise it was a 20-item-questions for 10 minutes time pressured. But then, after few minutes of answering all of it, I received an email stating I passed the interview. When the admission officer called me, they mentioned that I already passed the interview (they are referring to the online exam). :yelclap: The exam is similar to the Board Exam questions. More on psychology, like.. "Among the statements of the patient, which is the one that describes her as having anorexia.. " Also medications, like morphine and some diuretics effects.. Goodluck mate!! You can do it!!
