I have started a thread in the Immigration for Immigration requirements for Australia/New Zealand
''I had an experience in New zealand but as a nurse assistant only.. do you think they'll count that in? :)''
No, they will not. I had 15 years as an Enrolled Nurse and absolutely no recruiter wants to know about that part of my CV, it is RN 1 experience only. Makes sense really.
There are different competencies for a nurse assistant versus RN and if you have had experience as a nurse assistant, does not make one a competent RN.
Yes. Another thing, there are lots of grads here who are unemployed as well. I am on 456 visa, multiple entry.
hi annie_v2g,
did u book a return ticket? what are ur plans in order for you to be extended in Au, do you have to come home to apply for extension of visa? thanks for answering my quiries in advance.

Hi there,I just want to ask what hospitals hire ICU nurses?
Hi lani_g85! Have you started with the BP? If not, When is your intake? I have started mine last Monday. Are u an ICU nurse in the Phil? I was assigned in the ICU back home too. I hope it will be an advantage for us. Keep in touch.

My 456 visa is multiple entry so I don't have to extend it. Yes, you should book a return ticket coz sometimes immigration asks for it. I went home here in Phils last April 6 because that's the end of my 3 months in Australia, but i'll be back on the 25th for another 3 months.
