  1. i didn't need one when i took the bridging program, that was a year ago

  3. i think you would still need to take it again, bec. AHPRA requires an ielts 7 :)
  4. check the immigration website.. it would depend on what type of permanent residency you would apply for. currently it's 3060 AUD for the application(without the health exams). and rules change comes July..
  5. I have 1 yr medsurg and 2 yrs of haemodialysis experience from the Philippines. I have finished the bridging program in Oct 2012, offered a job as a dialysis nurse late March 2013.
  6. if you have the money and experience to apply for a permanent residency.. go for it :)
  7. currently the job openings here in melbourne are more in favor of those who had OR experience..:)
  8. not to answer your question, but a nice to know fact.. certifying documents is free here in Aus..:)
  9. usually the laptop is not counted. you should also check with the airlines(website), some would allow you to have 1 hand carry,1 handbag, and a laptop bag..so yey for over baggage! :)
  10. yup, lodged mine in ahpra vic. again, it depends, some got their registration earlier

  12. based from experience, I suggest buying a return ticket to have proof that you will exit Aus after 3 months..
