Hello Everyone!
I would like to invite everyone who applied to the upcoming MS WHC RN program, or who applied to a previous residency program to post here.
For those who previously applied and interviewed, do you have any interview tips?
For those who applied to the upcoming program, what units did you select? Do you have any previous RN or CNA experience?
I'm finishing up an accelerated BSN program, and I don't have any previous experience (I haven't had the time!). I selected the stroke unit and the ER as my top choices, but I also told them that I would be open to other units.
This will be my first interview for an RN position, so I am nervous!
Hey everyone,
I just wanted to start this thread for those applying to the Summer 2017 program. I submitted my application on Dec. 2 for Women's Health/ L&D. I received the email to complete the battery test the next day. My application status currently says that they are reviewing my resume.
If you applied: What were your thoughts on the battery test ? What area did you apply to? Are you relocating ?
Good Luck!
I applied a couple of days ago and took the battery test yesterday. Yikes not sure about that test - it looks like applicants find out in a week if they were moving forward or rejected due to not passing the nurse career battery test. I applied for the ED and ICU. But i'm open to almost any unit. Oh and I'd me relocating from Arizona.
Thanks for posting a thread for this :) I've been reading others and it really has me super nervous since it seems so many fail this "battery test".
It didn't take long for a response. Within 5 days of applying, I got a message for a battery test, and then about 5 days after finishing the test, I was contacted by nursing recruitment, asking general questions, GPA, when Im taking the NCLEX, etc. Next day I was invited to interview. I interview in January. If your curious about the battery test, its not a test you study for, or that tests your nursing knowledge. It's more conflict resolution, how you would deal with certain situations, and personality questions. Good Luck!

Thanks, yes i am familiar with the nurse career battery test. But i did see they want applicants to do some questions and profile on The HIVE, did you do any of that?
Thanks again.
