Feb 2017 Washington Hospital Center RN Residency
I haven't yet made an appointment but I'm hoping to get it done and out of the way in mid January. Do you (or anyone else reading this) know if WHC offers a relocation package? Or any wage additions for type of degree or previous clinical experience (i.e. patient tech)? I know that Medstar Georgetown offers a relo bonus so I'm hoping WHC is the same but I haven't been able to find anything for RNs

VCU's accelerated program 2015
I'm also applying to gmu/odu if i dont get into the other schools. I've alright things about gmu and odu but all that i really know about them is what i've read on other threads. i know that with gmu theres a bit of a commute involved with going to clinicals. and norfolk is not too ideal of a place for me just due to crime rates and since odu is in norfolk itself, i'm not too keen about going there (assuming i get in haha). i'm really banking on getting into vcu or uva but my gpa isn't the best and i didn't get all a's in my pre-reqs. i'm pretty much relying on my personal statement, work experience, and recommendations

VCU's accelerated program 2015
oh oops i didn't see that people already answered the question about the email issue haha. and i'm pretty sure that you're right about only half of all applicants or so are actually "qualified" and i guess all that really means is that they've done all the pre-reqs or are working on them, have the appropriate gpa above their minimum, and turned in everything needed for the application, so not necessarily "highly" qualified but just meet the standards
