I would like to invite everyone who applied to the upcoming MS WHC RN program, or who applied to a previous residency program to post here.
For those who previously applied and interviewed, do you have any interview tips?
For those who applied to the upcoming program, what units did you select? Do you have any previous RN or CNA experience?
I'm finishing up an accelerated BSN program, and I don't have any previous experience (I haven't had the time!). I selected the stroke unit and the ER as my top choices, but I also told them that I would be open to other units.
This will be my first interview for an RN position, so I am nervous!
Hey! I just applied! I'm a 5th year from Michigan State. I didn't really specify a unit on my cover letter, just said I have experience in progressive care (which is where I want to be). I haven't received information on the battery test yet! Good luck on submitting your app and keep me posted :)
Hi :) I added Inpatient Surgical Services to my cover letter - I did not have a specific surgical unit I wanted to be on. However, the Transplant unit has piqued my interest as I kept reading about it. I submitted my battery test on Sunday 12/11/16, just been anxiously waiting!

I think that if you dont get it in a few days you can call and let them know, because it's a automatic thing prior to reviewing your application. Worth a try.

I received a call on Wednesday. They interviewed me over the phone and if everything goes well I should hear from them in two weeks. Best of luck to you !
