At our hospital we automatically sub protonix for nexium etc. protonix is cheaper. We are short on heparin, so now we have to draw it from a flush bag system and not waste it.

It also takes forever for the meds to come up that they do stock!

I heard on the news tonight that the government is making plans to stockpile vaccines.....Is that ethical? Do we store up supplies we need NOW ......or is it wise to be prepared?

LASIX NOW BUMEX, I WISH DEMORAL WAS IN SHORT SUPPLY THEN MAYBE DOCS WOULD PRESCRIBE A PAIN MED THAT ACTUALLY TAKES AWAY PAIN, INSTEAD OF JUST SEDAITING THE PT.
