Medical Terminology- finished!

I started the Straighterline Medical Terminology class this morning. Finished it tonight..... drum roll here.... 92%

I'm happy, I'm tired.... my brain is mush... :eek:

Now if I could just get the Biology finished like that, I'd be a happy camper. Great way to spend my spring break though.... :clown:

I'm just totally shocked that you guys are finishing a whole course up so quickly! Question.. are the quizzes and the tests timed? You don't have to have a proctor or anything??

Most of the quizzes are timed for two hours. The midterms and final exams are usually timed for three hours. All of their exams are self-administered and unproctored.

Does anyone know if Straighterline is going to offer microbiology?

Don't know if they'll offer Micro, although it would be nice.

I did just sign up for A&P II with lab.

Please post about A/P when you finish. I took A/P I, and then the Excelsior exam. I also want to take Pharmacology can't wait.

How was API?? They have Pharmacology?? If they have that..then I would assume that eventually they would have Microbiology..

Pharmacology I / II have not started yet for Pharmacology yet on Straighterline. I signed up to be notified by email when its available.

i'm not sure what degree everyone is taking this medical terminology course for, but....... just fyi for anyone wondering- excelsior does not accept this course as an elective or anything towards the asn degree. i tried to get approval for it and they said that it is a duplication and would not be approved.

just a heads up if any of you are doing the lvn-asn program.

other online colleges will accept the medical terminology course as 3 college credits that can be applied to the 'free electives' section of most degree plans. so, for those of us who are pursuing an online bsn degree, this course is a quick 3 credits closer to our goals.

is A & P 1 and A& P 2 through straighterline.com definitely accepted by Excelsior for their ADN program?

I called them and they would not give me a direct answer.

I am also interested in whether or not the no lab A&P is accepted by Excelsior as well. They wouldn't accept the one I have and I really don't want to take the exam so I would gladly do the Straighterline.
