Hi, Just wondering if anyone has heard anything regarding acceptance?

How many students will Augusta accept?

They are only accepting 100 nursing students this year. 50 in Augusta and 50 in Athens. Admissions said that in past years they had accepted up to 150 combined campuses.

Are they sending out acceptance and denial letters this week? My status changed today and i am really nervous. Does anyone know?

I got my letter on saturday saying that I didn't get in, so that's how I know. Kind of a bummer but I hope you get in!!

i am so sorry. but there r other nursing programs. they r not the only game in town, good luck to you!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else freaking out about the news today about budget cuts at MCG. They are saying that some of the students who were accepted might not be allowed to start after all. It was on the local news today. I know they are talking about cutting whole programs even if people aren't finished yet. I'm going to call tomorrow to see if they have any new news.

Everyone in GA is cutting back. I hope they dont take back our acceptances. I will be heart broken. Call and PLEASE update us.

Called MCG today, they said that the only people that could possibly have their acceptances rescinded would be at the Athens campus. While I am relieved, my heart goes out to those in Athens.

Wow, this is so sad. I feel horrible all around for every student in GA thats effected by this. and I will be praying for those at the Athens campus
