Anyone know any good med surg certification books I can use to study for the exam? Your advice and help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Go to the AMSN website and purchase the books there. Their is a questionnaire book that resembles some of the test questions from the AMSN test.
The books were also used by those that took the ANCC as well.
Others used their med/surg books too.
Thanks

Anyone willing to sell the practice test question book and study books? They are on back order and I can't wait til December.

Is the certification necessary and help you marketable with no experience? I'm a mental health tech eager to work in the med-surg unit as a pct and learn chart review and clincials. I have no acute experience. I'm open for any advice.

You can't be certified without experience.

Med-Surg certification is for RNs only, not for PCTs.
The best thing is to keep applying.
Thank you everyone

I ordered the ANCC book from their website. I am getting ready to take the RN-BC Med Surg exam in a few months.
