Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

Hi there! I'm looking to apply next year after gaining more volunteer experience. I was looking at my pre-requisites qualifications but noticed I have a B- in Microbio even though Columbia is asking for a B. Should I retake this course?

Hey! Im not sure if it was this forum or the previous cohort, but I do remember people mentioning that they did retake a course when they got a B-. The good thing is that you do still have time to complete the course before the May deadline! Maybe a cc has the course available and you can take it, and it wouldnt be as expensive?

Hi! Courses with B- need to be retaken. I was asked to retake a class by Columbia as I got a B- for that class the last time I took it. I also explained it in my addendum to cover all my bases.

Happy new years everyone ❤️ I thought a round of decisions were going to come out before Christmas. But I guess they misinformed me. I asked about it again and they said decisions are still expected by February but hoping to have an email out this month on further information.

I hope by an email this month they mean this week, I am so impatient hahaha. Thanks for sharing this info!

Columbia just sent me an email saying first round will be out soon.

I just received an email saying they’ll be releasing decisions for “this round in early February”

The second round is February. First-round soon

I too received an email saying the first round is coming and the second is in February. I’m so nervous. I thought it was a rejection at first ?

When do you guys think “soon” is?

Maybe a week from today? Maybe the 15th? So curious!!
