MDE Columbia University 2021

Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

A lot of us are in a tight spot in terms of waiting for this decision and responding to other programs. Their emails throughout this cycle have been misleading, leading us to believe we would hear back earlier -- I'm sorry but not a good look.

I feel like it would’ve been less aggravating waiting if they hadn’t sent that email out saying decisions would be coming out earlier. The decisions actually came out later than most years so I’m not sure why they told us that in the first place

So well said. Like I'm sorry if I sound entitled, but this is ridiculous. At this point I feel like I'm going to hear back from Vanderbilt sooner and that program doesn't start until August ?

I think we’ll most likely get our decisions sometime late next week. I feel like they aren’t done reviewing our applications ??‍♀️

This is so annoying, I feel like we won't find out till the end of the month.

I just called and they said decisions should come out "this week or early next week." Sooooo I feel like maybe Friday of next week hahahah

Thanks for the update! This has definitely been a frustrating wait for sure. I definitely feel like by Thursday/Friday of next week too smh LOL

Well that’s great news ! This week means tomorrow? Or next week? LOL okay. I’m a little at ease I guess.
