MDE Columbia University 2021

Hey ! I know im super early to make this thread for the MDE program at Columbia for the 2021 start year ? but I was wondering if there are any future nurses out there as eager as me to get started !!

I thought we would hear much quicker with it being rounds...I’ve heard back from all my other schools. This is actually getting to be a lot

All decisions were released in January last year.

Yup. I read much earlier on this thread that all admissions decisions were sent out on January 29 last year. It’s another “maybe tomorrow” day.

wow I thought these "rounds" would allow for decisions to come out "quicker" than previous years. I guess only for group 1 people. This has set group 2 back quite a bit however...

Long time lurker here, currently waiting as well. I do think this is a bit log. I understand they have more applications than usual however the windo to commit factor acceptance is short. Those of us left for the second waive of decisions have already heard back from other schools as well as I want to apply to more schools but not if I get in to Columbia. However I can’t keep waiting so I’ll go ahead and apply in case I don’t get it, because it can go either way. ?

No I absolutely agree. It’s making me look at the school a little more because this is a very long wait. I applied in September, so I’m wondering why it’s not a priority to get those decisions out when it’s about to be March! ?

I’m surprised you weren’t included in the first round!

Likewise. I applied September 17 and have received all their emails but this second “round” has only been effective on increasing my anxiety ??

Hang in there everyone!! I know the wait is nerve-wracking but please know that all of us who got our decisions earlier are still crossing our fingers and toes and waiting with you!!

I think anyone who isn’t in the admissions office has no idea what’s going on
