Did anyone apply to th enursing program at miami-dade? Have you gotten a response yet?

Amen...C=Continue. I have heard that a lot. GPA is what gets you into nursing school. After you get in...its just a matter of survival until graduation. GPA looses it importance around the end of the first semester as those final grades are being tallied.

If you do get good grades.....there is that feeling like you "survived another one"..."pulled it off another time"..."got lucky"....or just that "HOLY Crow...I did it!!" Well actually those are usually the sentiments each student has at the end of each semester.....A's..B's..or C's.

Tomorrow..I start my third semester at MDC. Specialty summer. Psych, OB then Peds. Hopefully in August...I'll have those positive end of semester sentiments.

I am at kaplan university and doing great. I am a straight A student as always. However, I had a 3.75 GPA when I applied at MDC and was unsuccessful. Now, I have no regrets. I am at a place where I am very comfortable and happy. I work fulltime and go to school fulltime. Life is great.

I don't know the process for how MDC accepts people, because some people just get in very easily. they are very "lucky" I guess.

but anywho. You will do great.

do take advantage of the kaplan nclex-rn review, I did, and passed 1st time 75Q

They did not accept you into MDC with a 3.75? Why? Wow. That is horrible, but I think it worked out for you either way.
