MDC Nursing Spring 2019

To anyone out there....

I had planned to apply for Fall 2018 but I will be finishing my pre reqs on May 1,2018. The exact deadline to apply for Fall. Is anyone in a similar situation? Do you think I should apply anyways?

@andreampu I did the background check. You should receive an email from the school when it's ready. Call the school within 3-5 days if you haven't received an email because I've heard that some students haven't received any email although their fingerprints are ready for pick up.

I just got off the phone with MDC medical and it takes about 4 visits to get all that medical work done. She was very nice and answered all my questions. Plus they had appts as soon as two days from now. She was very specific that people don't lose their seats from not completing the medical things before orientation. She just said that it just stops most students from registering for classes at orientation time.

*just for all the people freaking out like me because they are having problems completing the medical part.

Did anyone's Degree audit update from Pre select? Or is there anywhere that shows that we have actually been accepted outside of the congratulatory letter?

FYI Nursingunlimited has CPR/BLS classes all over and its 37.00 you can schedule online and you need a required book which cost about 19.00. I saw in a previous forum someone found it online and printed it out themselves. I just bought it.

This was the least expensive one that I found.

Did you already pay and accept your seat? If so I'd think it's a matter of them updating the system.

Yes I paid and whats weird is a few days after I paid I thought it said something other than pre-select but now it's back to Pre-select. Does yours say something different?

I just paid yesterday but It hasn't changed yet.
