To anyone out there....
I had planned to apply for Fall 2018 but I will be finishing my pre reqs on May 1,2018. The exact deadline to apply for Fall. Is anyone in a similar situation? Do you think I should apply anyways?

I'm also new at all nurses so I can't reply in pvt msg
But to your question
Yes bridge program was a bit paced
1st semester- med surg and fundamentals together plus Pharm math . There's no Pharmacology class like generic & is included throughout the term.

And continue
2nd semester of bridge program full time
You have the specialities
Obstetrics , pediatrics, psych and community
These seems a lot but they are given consecutive and not at the same time except community
3rd semester
Advanced med surge and leadership
Also not at the same time but consecutive
Leadership is a bunch of qs do to get you prepared for the HESI exit
The best one to help for that is the red book HESI and the yourbestgrade
Good luck
Unfortunately I don't think I made it to go to the RN to BSN . It's OK , now I'm more focused to find a nursing residency in a hospital that would train me and pay me to have a guaranteed job
My first interview in person is in Chattanooga memorial hospital in Tennessee oct 25
Before that St. Petersburg general hospital I have a phone call interview oct 19
Best of luck in your program you choose

Thanks for replying, I have a co-worker who recently graduate from MDC nursing and said generic is slower paced. So I've chosen generic, that way I can continue to work and I wanted to be on the safer side just in case.
dmoise said:Hi guys...I know the accelerated option is 3 semesters and the generic option is four semesters but is it possible to work during the accelerated option? I got accepted to both but I am leaning towards the accelerated option but I'm will need to work during the program.
It's highly advised to not work during accelerated. It's hard to complete as it is. The first semester is literally 2 in 1 with 19 credits. I was accepted to both but I'm going with generic. I applied to accelerated as back up.
