MDC Nursing Spring 2019

To anyone out there....

I had planned to apply for Fall 2018 but I will be finishing my pre reqs on May 1,2018. The exact deadline to apply for Fall. Is anyone in a similar situation? Do you think I should apply anyways?

So maybe you know: are we required to have EVERYTHING on the list completed before the orientation or else we lose our seat?

*My medical doctor is considered that they won't have all the medical things completed before November 8th. And i certainly don't want to lose my seat in the program.

** I have called 3 advisors at 2 different campuses and no answers or calls back. Any guidance would help. Thanks!

That's why is much better do it at MDC. They do it immediately. It's more expensive but faster and easier than run from one place to another and wait. I got my first test skin today and Wednesday I'll get the second one. Flu shot, titers, health assessment, drugs screening, etc. I can upload at complio most of them this week. So, if you already do some stuff, try to finish what is missing at MDC.

When did u schedule your appt?

Yes. Same day. Some of them which I can upload. Other results I have to wait, but not that longer as doctor office. I made appointment on Thursday and today I took everything required.

No. After do the blood, urine, and shots they give you an appointment for 2nd skin test and health assessment

Has anyone done the background check? If so, what is it that we upload to complio? will we get something by mail from where we did the fingerprints?

I got an email today saying it was ready for pick up at the Dean's office (I did it on Friday). But I'm not totally sure which campus.
