MDC Nursing Spring 2019

To anyone out there....

I had planned to apply for Fall 2018 but I will be finishing my pre reqs on May 1,2018. The exact deadline to apply for Fall. Is anyone in a similar situation? Do you think I should apply anyways?

Me too! I've been nervous this whole time but the fact that the dates are set and they know who they've accepted makes me a damn nervous wreck lol

@ShireenK I see a few people have been refreshing their mdc profile that says accelerated preselect. How do I view my profile please? Also, from the cpr website you posted, which class would I be selecting? I know they said no online cpr classes.

Accelerated Medical campus November 9

I was also told that the committee met last week and they made their selections. Acceptance emails will be sent by next week at the latest.

Someone told me a computer system selects the students but I am not sure if that is true. Does anyone know how the selection process works?

I know right, I mentally planned to freak out on Oct. 14(the day before the emails go out), but you guys got me all nervous now lol.

The pre-select doesn't mean your accepted, but you can find that info on your unoffical transcript

That's on MDC Connect where you view your transcripts but I believe that has nothing to do with admission. That just means that it's the program you're working towards in your pre-reqs.

I don't know exactly how it works but I was told that the committee selected the students.

It would be nice to get the emails before next week. I'm not expecting it, but it would be a wonderful surprise!
