So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

For those who have taken the Pearson test, how long is the test taking to complete?

About 3 hours

@Lizipanther thanks!

They give you three hours but I did it in two so plenty of time.

By the way results for Pearson? Where do you find them? Seem to have lost the website address...they never sent me an email ..not that it really matters but would be nice to know compared to the TEAS scores... as it was pretty much the same...

Hello. Does anyone knows the retention/graduation rate for miami dade college RN program. I heard most students in Broward College failed the course, so I was wondering if its the same in Miami Dade. How many admitted and how many actually graduated from the program? Thanks

The Dean told us in orientation it was 96% if it is true not sure

for those who did pearson test whats the average score? I got a 75 :o but im not even sure what that means ???

Doesn't mean anything, it was a metrics test. It was a test to test their testing system and difficulty of questions. Comparing grades to others is meaningless as the difficulty level varied for each individual. I wouldn't worry about it.

If you read the letter ahead of the results, it basically says that there's no way to read any relevance into the score. There were different tests of varying difficulty, so your 75 may or may not be comparable to someone else's score. I wouldn't give I too much thought. I'm sure they'll let us know if there's anything we need to be concerned about.

Did any AO cohorts received any financial aid to pay for classes??? I am bit worried that my classes will be dropped if I don't come with that exorbitant tuition.

What I understood from orientation is that you can get a short term loan while financial aid kicks in.

I thought i lost my mind when I saw tuition was due a week after orientation.
