MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

Thanks janurse i breathing again i was thinking about get ready for test again. That's mean we don't need to pass it or not, but just do our best?

@Candy2, it was for the fall she applied and got into. Now she studying for her boards. Have faith, you will get your acceptance as well.

Sorry i took so long to answer, i work overnight shifts. Yes JANurse37 is correct. Its nothing to freak out about. Just a tool to help the students succeed.

Hello everyone. I signed up for the CPR/BLS class at MDC. I think it would have been cheaper somewhere else, but whatever, at this point I just want to get all this paperwork in. Anyways, its for this Saturday, Oct. 26th @ 8:30am until 2:30pm. I registered online using reference # 777279. Let me know if anyone else is joining me this saturday. (also it was $79...UGHHH:dead:)

Hello everyone ! I just started reading all the posts and congrats to everyone who got accepted !!!! And for those still waiting don't give up hope. I actually applied for both the Generic Full time and Part time. I got accepted to the Part time although my first choice would be the Full time. What should I do now? Any suggestions ? I Really want FT but if anything I'm still happy with PT. I have to accept by Oct 31. But how will I know if I might get accepted to FT? How long can I wait? Also there are a lot of things to do and I want to start but if I start everything and then get accepted can I switch? In such a dilemma!!!! My head ache isn't over :/ hELP[/quote']

Hey everyone! Make sure you are signing up for the CPR/BLS for healthcare providers. I ran into a future nursing student who spent 80 dollars on a CPR/AED course. Don't make this mistake- those are two different things. Just wanted to make that clear for people.

@JulieAlvarez I believe it was a 75. Around there. Almost the same. So what are you planning on doing ?
