MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

Has anyone tried doing the background check, I don't see an option to do it on the medical campus. I thought we could do it there

Yeah I registered for the background check and had to make an appointment at the facility in coral gables. There wasn't an option for Medical Campus which was weird since the email mentioned that we can finish the background the day of Orientation if we had an appointment.

I registered for my background check as well, just three locations to choose from, Hialeah, Coral Gables, and down south past the Kendall campus.

I just finished and paid (ouch) for the background check. I made the appointment for the Hialeah office on Tuesday.

@janurse37 I didn't see any medical campus option either.

I'm assuming that the fingerprints weren't included in the background check fee. Is this right? If so, anyone know how much I'm looking to spend on Tuesday?

@ miri I think that price includes the fingerprints because it mentioned that we need to print and bring our receipt to the fingerprinting appointment.
