MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

Hi and congratsss on getting in :) am trying to join the fb group page but I cant seem to find it. I searching for it on the fb search bar but nothing by that name comes up. Am I doing something wrong?

yeah I tried finding it too, but couldn't.

Hi I've been reading your posts for months and just decided to register today. I applied to spring 2014 but I haven't received an Acceptance email yet. I don't want to lose hope. =(

Hey! Don't lose hope! I'm still waiting too!! We will probably have to wait a week or two for the second and third round picks.

I got my letter this morning. I was worried because I didn't get an email yesterday. So I call Midacl campus today and they checked the email and said mine was still "pending" so they had to resend the email. But - I'm in and so very happy. Full time generic Homestead campus.

So regarding the Student Health Record, has anyone or is anyone going to do it through MDCs Wellness Clinic? (link below)

I have a Primary Care Physician but there is usually no appointment available for at least a month so I was thinking about doing all the necessary tests through the Wellness Clinic but had a question regarding the prices. It states $225 all inclusive, so I'm assuming you can't use your insurance, not sure... And I wonder if they'll send the lab work to say Quest Diagnostics and then you get a bill from them later for $100 bucks as well...

I don't have any medical insurance so I was going to do it with MDC. I really hope the "inclusive" price is what they say and nothing more. I'm planning on starting that whole ordeal on Monday. I just hate that we have very little time to do everything. :sniff: Oh well...i applied knowing that so I'll stick to minimal complaining :cheeky:

BTW... I have decided to stick to FT Generic in the medical campus. I will decline my AO seat and leave it for individuals braver and smarter than me (:chicken:

Hmm weird I can find it when I search from another fb account that isnt in the group, are you putting it in all caps? Try that. If not, send me a message on here with your Facebook name and I will invite you from the group.

Ok the issue seems to be that I can only add people to the group, you can't search and join it for some reason. So anyone interested in joining please send me a message with your Facebook name and I will add you.
