So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.
So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.
Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!
@BDA12NV I know what you mean. But don't forget, we are all here with you. Focus on other things or you'll go crazy. Besides, we have to save our anxiety attacks for when we are classmates freaking out over tests together.
@MimiK71 Welcome to our crazy waiting party. We have a great, very informed bunch so check out our previous posts. They certainly helped me!!! I applied to FT generic as well. I'm very excited to start already and meet my class mates and form study groups (staying positive).
@ tati.lara75Are you still using ATI? Did you hear anything in regards to MDC switching over to Pearson Vue which you have to pass in order to move on?
Yes we use pearson. ATI is out and mdc doesn't use it anymore. Yes you have to pass a standardized Pearson test at the end of each class to move on to the next semester. But don't worry about that now, you will learn about it in orientation.
Awesome! Well if its any relief to you I've heard bridge is not as competitive as generic. So wooosahhh. I know now we are really excited to start school, but half way through the program will be counting down til graduation. Take it easy[/quote']@BDA12NV I know what you mean. Lol thanks for giving me something else to look forward to.
Thanks. It really is nice to contact people that are going through the same experience. I'm doing my best to stay positive and I'm ususally a very patient person (just not right now). One of the issues is that I can't complete my financial aid until I get accepted. Apparently I need an IEP, which has to be completed by an advisor, which can't be done until I get accepted. I'm also thinking about everything we have to do; CPR, vaccines, check-ups, uniforms, books, etc. If we don't get notified until November, well, it's just a lot to do. I'm also hoping to get into the Homestead campus, it's much closer. I've read some horror stories about people closer to the medical campus that were accepted into Homestead and and the other way around too. Stay positive, I know .
I just checked the dates from the Spring 2013 thread and it definitely looks like First Round Pick emails were were the third week of October. Second Round Pick emails were sent the last week of October.
I'm hoping they are following the same trend this year ::fingers crossed:: The suspense is killing me! Hope we all get in! :)
Hi guys! I just wanted to wish you all luck I know the waiting game is torture! I started AO this semester and let me tell you it's not for the faint of heart! I didn't see a lot of AO applicants on here but if any if you guys have any questions about AO I'll try my best to answer them for you.
And hi Tati! I think I remember you from the fall 2013 thread. Glad to hear you're hanging in there!

Hello Everyone!
I also applied for Spring 2014 Full Time Generic and the suspense is driving me crazy. It feels like I'm just going through the motions every day, just waiting for that email. I wish we weren't all in this boat, but it's nice to see I'm not the only one. Good luck everyone!
