MDC Nursing spring 2014

Published

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

Hello to everyone I'm new to this post and as all of you I just cant wait for that email to get to my mailbox so I could start sleeping right again. So I got an 82.7 on my teas and my GPA is about 3.78, praying I get in for so far this is my only plan for school purposes. I hope we all receive our acceptance email this week.[/quote']

That's a great score and an amazing GPA! You shouldn't have a problem getting in. ;)

Does anyone know what the lowest overall score they have accepted (in the past) for the generic full time program was?

From reading previous post from students who got accepted into the fall 2013 program, the lowest scores were in the high 70's but remember it all depend on the applicant pool for the term you are applying for. Lets remain positive am sure this month will bring us all good news :)

I'm trying to stay as patient as possible but when in October did applicants for last Spring receive their acceptance email? The wait is killer!

So I went ahead and answered my own question :). First people to receive emails last spring received them on October 18th, a Thursday. So if that trend continues it means we should receive emails by the end of this week!! Almost there!:roflmao:

I was looking through the old posts on here and it looks like the first round of emails were received on October 18th, but some students did not get the email until November 9th!

I think they go in order by your combined score, from highest to lowest.

have they told anyone what the cut off score is for the first round of acceptances? they should know by now if they're planning on sending out emails this week?

I called and an advisor said they are "still making selections" but then also told me they aren't allowed to.tell students when emails have started going out.

Good luck to everyone :) don't forget to post as soon as you get your letters!

Hey everybody! I had to create a new login name, I was brittani. I went to medical campus to check on my application because I had a feeling something would go wrong. Anyways they had my application for full-time and not part-time, after we sorted everything out he mentioned that they still haven't made selections but that I should be checking my email on a regular basis at this point.

Oh no now am starting to worry that something might have gone wrong with my application too since I applied early august. I think am going to make a trip there just for safe measures :\
