MDC Nursing spring 2014

So I'm starting the post for Spring 2014. I'm currently waiting for my acceptance letter for fall term but just in case applying for spring is my back up plan.

So my GPA is 3.0 and my teas is 72 giving me a score around 73.

Since I didn't get a first round email for fall I'm thinking of retaking my teas test so if anyone is willing to study with me please let me know. Good luck to everyone applying for spring!!

Hello, I just joined the forum. I just took my second attempt to the TEAS test and was devastated as I only scored 4 points higher than last time. My new score is a 65.3. I have been studying since May, but what killed me was the Science portion Physical Science. My science GPA is a 3.75, so that's an overall score of 76.68. I already got rejected for Fall 2013 Generic, so I have a tiny ounce of hope left for Spring 2014 Generic. The advisor said less people applied this round, but I am still really upset and disappointed. Any feedback would be great!!

Hopeful future nurse is a perfect name for moments like this. Continue to be hopeful and patient. I have seen throughout allnurses forum that there have been people with your scores get selected into the program. And if nursing is truly where you want to be then you will continue to apply and improve your scores. Hopefully the Pax Rn won't be as challenging as the Teas. Besides the advisor told me if you reapply next term you do not need to pay the application fee again. So its always worth the try.

Hi everyone so I've been lurking around this sites for quite some time now and I finally decided to join. I turned my application in today for the spring 2014 term. My gpa is 4.0 and teas 63 giving me a overall score of 77.8. I applied to both full time and part time option. Hopefully I can get in with this score. I can wait for October to come around.
