Hi everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for applicants of the nursing program at Miami Dade College for Fall term 2017. I'm currently working on my last prerequisites and will be finished this semester. I plan on taking the HESI A2 in January and applying for the Generic and Part time tracks.
Guys,Where can I get all those vaccines done? Will my local Primary care physician be able to take care of those in one sitting? Or do I have to go to MDC and get them all done there as well? Also the 10 panel drug test...I'm new to all this. Thanks!
By the way, MD NOW also does the 10 panel drug screening for $50. I'm not sure how much MDC's Wellness Clinic does it for (they aren't answering the phone right now) but check with your doctor's office to see if they do it too.

Hi,
I went to the Baptist health primary care and got everything done there including the drug panel. I'm waiting for my results. I paid a co payment with my insurance I believe MDC charges around $325 for everything.

You must have really good health insurance. The health care providers I spoke to said health insurance doesn't cover titers for school. I ended up paying the $325 at MDC because it was the most affordable option.

Your primary care physician should be able to do the vaccines for you. If you've already gotten some of vaccines required & need to do titers for them, they should be able to draw blood & send it to a lab which will send them back the test results you'll need to submit to Complio. You can probably do your student physical on the same day too. As for the 10 panel drug screen, I know that the Miami Dade College Wellness Clinic & the Miami Rescue Mission Clinic does it.
