Hi everyone! I just wanted to start a thread for applicants of the nursing program at Miami Dade College for Fall term 2017. I'm currently working on my last prerequisites and will be finished this semester. I plan on taking the HESI A2 in January and applying for the Generic and Part time tracks.

I got my accpetance letter yesterday afternoon. HESI 91%, GPA about a 3.6. Bachelor's degree in Biology. Anyone know if there's a difference between homestead campus and medical campus?

I got accepted to Homestead Generic full time. Gpa 3.5 Hesi 91%

I got accepted yesterday afternoon. To both part time and generic full time at homestead. I went today to medical campus and paid my deposit for the full time program. Crongratulations to everyone that got accepted :)

I think some of the students who have been accepted are not on the all nurses website. I picked up my background check results today and the office assistant had to look through a stack of papers just to find my paperwork. The fall admission cycle is very competitive! It seems like they mainly accepted 4.0-3.5 grade point averages this cycle.

Anyone taking the CPR BLS class on July 8th at Kendall Campus? Also Does anyone know if you get the card right away or if you have to wait? I'm not sure if it's too late since my orientation is July 11th.

They usually have it ready that day, at least when I did a recertification a few years ago it was like that.
