  1. It seems like their next residency program is in August based on what it says on their website. Residency choices include: 18-week RN Residency in Multispecialty Adult Care/March and August 18-week RN Residency in Specialty Adult Care (Critical Care, Emergency Care, Urgent Care, Perioperative, Perinatal)/March and August 22-week RN Residency in Pediatrics and NICU/March and August When did they post the application for the March residency program? Was it 2 months in advance of the start date of the March residency program?
  2. Thanks for the number. They said they'll be open from 8 am - 4 pm tomorrow.
  3. Check it again. I just looked on MyMDC and it doesn't say "PreSelect" anymore.
  4. Were you able to register for classes on your own or did you have an advisor help you to register? They told Transitional/Bridge Full Time and Online students at orientation that we could register this Wednesday. I'm worried that when I log on & try to register tomorrow from home it won't let me. I was compliant before orientation. I've already paid the acceptance deposit and submitted my response form before the date mentioned in the email.
  5. Has anyone's status on MyMDC under "My Academics" ---> "My Program" changed since submitting your acceptance form, becoming compliant on Complio and attending orientation? Or does it still say "PreSelect?"
  6. I got my acceptance letter through my MDC email but they also called my house & told me to check my email.
  7. By the way, MD NOW also does the 10 panel drug screening for $50. I'm not sure how much MDC's Wellness Clinic does it for (they aren't answering the phone right now) but check with your doctor's office to see if they do it too.
  8. Congratulations! How did you study? For how long each day? Did you mostly stick to reading & going over notes or did you do practice questions too?
  9. Your primary care physician should be able to do the vaccines for you. If you've already gotten some of vaccines required & need to do titers for them, they should be able to draw blood & send it to a lab which will send them back the test results you'll need to submit to Complio. You can probably do your student physical on the same day too. As for the 10 panel drug screen, I know that the Miami Dade College Wellness Clinic & the Miami Rescue Mission Clinic does it.
  10. Is it just me or does anyone else notice that when you are on the School of Nursing's Admissions web page and click the link for the Response Form, it takes you to an error page which says "Page Not Found"?
  11. Since some people have received their acceptance letters, do you mind sharing those tips with us now?
  12. For Bridge Full Time, it says orientation is on July 20.
  13. I used the HESI Admission Assessment Exam Review book. You can get it on Amazon.
  14. I spoke to an advisor today. She told me 2-3 weeks after May 1st, I should start checking my email every other day.
