I am also applying for FIU-- I was accepted last year to MDC but for financial and personal reasons could not attend. :'( Who else will be applying to Generic FT? Please state what program you will be applying to!
I will be taking the TEAS sometime in March, in which I will also be taking the HESI A2 for FIU. So I might as well be studying for both, lol. Anybody taken the TEAS at MDC? Share your experiences here! :) I will be using a general book for nursing school entrance exams... it's by Barron... and I will be studying my math from a nursing calculation book, and my sciences from my anatomy, biology, and other notes. Is it true there is geology on the exam? How irrelevant... lol
She told me to start reading the Fundamentals book because they tell you to read 10 chapters the first week.
Can anyone confirm again which book that is? I remember reading several titles previously, but not sure which one is correct. Thanks
Interesting that the phone call came from the Medical Center campus "Testing Center". I wonder if that is related to the TEAS? Also, does anyone know how far in advance of the semester that orientation has occurred in the past? I have to go on two family trips in August.

*BTW, I noticed on my MDC account, the address kept coming up wrong. They have about 12 digits in my zip code. I hope that doesn't mess up the notification letter. They're sending out email notifications this year. They're not sending anyone snail mail so as long as you have an mdc email account or they have your correct personal email you'll be fine.

The students accepted in the sonography and dental hygiene programs received everything by email and had to print it out. They had problems with people not responding by the deadline and being dropped before orientation. They were probably checking mailbox every day but no packet ever came. They didn't receive calls to check email and were given 2 weeks to respond to the acceptance email or they would be automatically dropped and the spot would go to someone else.

Hi guys i wonder if there is something involved with those numbers i applied to more than one program and got 5 phone calls. but i'm anxious i didn't get into my first choice and i need to get into this my teas score wasn't amazing. but my gpa is good and i really want this i will be stalking my mdc email like a hawk.
