I am also applying for FIU-- I was accepted last year to MDC but for financial and personal reasons could not attend. :'( Who else will be applying to Generic FT? Please state what program you will be applying to!
I will be taking the TEAS sometime in March, in which I will also be taking the HESI A2 for FIU. So I might as well be studying for both, lol. Anybody taken the TEAS at MDC? Share your experiences here! :) I will be using a general book for nursing school entrance exams... it's by Barron... and I will be studying my math from a nursing calculation book, and my sciences from my anatomy, biology, and other notes. Is it true there is geology on the exam? How irrelevant... lol

Can anyone tell me if the test they give is form B or A? The test I took was form B so I can study from that but Im not sure if Form A is much different.

I don't think so because I applied the last week in April (I think it was the day before the deadline) and got a call yesterday. I know some people applied a month or more before me and got called today. But my last name starts with A so I thought it was alphabetical.

I got an 86% overall on TEAS and have a 3.2 GPA. I know my GPA is not very high, but my hopes sure are!
I applied in January and got a call today at 3:45 so I don't think it is going by application date. I asked the woman when we should be hearing about the decision and she said AS EARLY AS TOMORROW.

but each advisors give students different info...I was told monday by a male advisor. I dont think they reallt know whats going on. They nursing dept. should have their own set of advisors. IDk anymore we'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
MDC has an old phone # from me...so I guess thats y I didnt get a call.
I applied two days before the application deadline and received my call yesterday so it's definitely not by application date. My sister is convinced that they have a process that it's just not random calls. So the posts before mine said that the lady told her as early as tomorrow...has anyone else heard that??
I just called...again... and was today maybe this weekend or Monday by tuesday everyone should know. Also she said calls where due to the fact that they changed from letters to emails and wanted eveyone to know about the change, to be on the look out for emails not letters. But they are calling everyone...so if they dont have a # or a right # for you then you wont get a call. Thats what happened to me they have an old #. I double checked
