OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I just started the program, this fall, and we are already having problems. I HATE IT already. Our Prof, clinicals instructor, and the program are all on a different page. No one knows whats going on and the dept. is not telling anyone a thing. They have our whole schedule wrong...they told us to disregard our schedule but nothing has been changed. U check ur schedule and it has the sam crap as the one they told us to disregard. And one thing I absolutely love bout MDC is that there is not one person that is helpful. They are all the same and they all just feed the students crap. I've been in the program for less than a month and Im already frustrated and I dont even want to go back. I personally think u are better off going to another school for LPN to RN. DONT GO TO DADE!!!!!! Save ur self the trouble and headache. I know I am. When Im done with the program, hopefully without anymore problems(which I highly doubt)---one can always expected the worst from dade-- I am not going to their brigde program. Im already look for LPN-RN program else where. PS----I do hope my group is done with the program in july like they told us. I've heard from another classmate of mine that her sis class was also lied to bout when they would be done and they actually completed it in oct.

The minimum TEAS score that was accepted to the RN program was at 80%. There are students who have not yet responded to their acceptance, which means the School of Nursing will begin contacting students in the order that they are ranked to fill those empty slots. What's the name of the advisor u spoke to PLEASE?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!! because I, too, went to speak to an advisor. She told me that she cant let me know if I got in or not because they dont know and that I'll have to wait for an email and acceptance email will still be going out, all this week.

Exactly....I actually went in because Im taking a class(hsc0003) at the campus. I spoke to an advisor, a guy at advisement desk, and the nursing dept. They all gave me a different story. Guy at desk--said emails been going out since wednesday and will be going out til friday. Advisor--said emails will be going out this week till july, so keep check my email until then. Nursing dept---emails will be going out friday until next week. I ask all of them why are we all getting different info and they each couldnt answer my question. So,I said I cant wait anymore, is there a way that I can get my result now, they all told me that they dont know what students got in and all they now is that emails will be going out. NO BODY knows what's going on....True MDC nature. We'll just have to live in misery and torture untill then I guess GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

I just called...again... and was today maybe this weekend or Monday by tuesday everyone should know. Also she said calls where due to the fact that they changed from letters to emails and wanted eveyone to know about the change, to be on the look out for emails not letters. But they are calling everyone...so if they dont have a # or a right # for you then you wont get a call. Thats what happened to me they have an old #. I double checked

Good luck but each advisors give students different info...I was told monday by a male advisor. I dont think they reallt know whats going on. They nursing dept. should have their own set of advisors. IDk anymore we'll just have to wait and see, I guess. MDC has an old phone # from me...so I guess thats y I didnt get a call.

I applied to both LPN and RN...74.7 teas and 3.2>> overall score is 76.82

Just call--- they said they are not calling alphabetically, it random and that who ever gets a call doesnt mean they're in. We just have to wait for next week, he said.
