Hi! Starting this thread for anyone else who plans on applying to the MD Anderson Summer 2020 cohort for their clinical nurse residency! I called this week to see when the application would open and they didn't give me any firm dates yet so still waiting on that

CONGRATS! I believe the process goes from Application Completed > Under Department Review > Under Recruiter Review, is that accurate if you know?

I honestly dont know because I was told they were on a hiring freeze

I thought it goes from completed to recruiter review than department review? I could be wrong but wouldn't a recruiter have to review it before it goes to department? Or did yours go from department to recruiter?

Yes, I think you’re correct. The questions were from a recruiter, then they send your app to the department. Not 100% sure but just how I think it goes in my head

From what I'm seeing, it seems like only the people who received questions for the initial Leukemia Clinical Nurse Residency application (that opened back in early February not the one that opened last week) have a status change.

I received questions for the Graduate Nurse Residency Program (not for the leukemia one), and my application remains "Application Complete" like most of yalls.

Is this correct we think? Or has anyone else received questions and a status change for the general Clinical Nurse Residency program? LOL I'm just trying to piece it together and see if I can find a trend in how they're doing this

Can I ask how you know it was from the regular Residency one? I was trying to decipher but I really couldn’t so I assumed the leukemia one because it was the most recent one I had applied to. Is that the only one you applied to?

The email I received with the questions said thank you for your interest in the “Graduate Nurse Residency Program” ... I assumed it was from the leukemia questions because the general clinical nurse residency position had not posted yet and it came right after I applied for the leukemia position.

So you did think it was from the leukemia one? You said “(not for the leukemia one)” in your post so I thought you were saying it was from the regular residency application

No that wasn’t me that was @tamustudent! I just replied to you to say that I agree with you I assumed mines was from the leukemia one Because it came after I completed that app even though it said thank you for you interest for the graduate nurse residency program!
