MD Anderson Nurse Residency Summer 2020

Hi! Starting this thread for anyone else who plans on applying to the MD Anderson Summer 2020 cohort for their clinical nurse residency! I called this week to see when the application would open and they didn't give me any firm dates yet so still waiting on that

with the whole coronavirus issue going on, nobody will have an interview until May..... there are doing a 30 day freeze on hiring people at MD Anderson

So crazy! I'm starting to get nervous, I haven't had an interview anywhere yet...

One of mine says under department review; my Clinical Nurse Residency one hasn't budged.

My leukemia application went under recruiter review yesterday but my first application for the leukemia unit from feb 13 is also still under review. My general residency has not budged as well.

Hey guys! I am new to the thread but have been reading to catch up! I have a couple of questions:

I received the email about answering the application questions on March 16th like many of you, but have not heard anything since that time. Has anyone heard back?

Also, I saw that many of you are talking about application status changes. What have the applications changed from? Mine for both leukemia and general nurse residency say "application completed". Is this the same for anyone?

The first clinical nurse residency leukemia position posted feb 11. I received questions that same day and my application status changed from application completed to under recruiter review on feb 13. The second clinical nurse residency leukemia position posted about a week ago but I noticed my application changed from application completed to under recruiter review yesterday.
