I didnt see any thread for this school so thought i start one

Just wanted to know is there is anyone applying to MCG/GHSU summer 2012 and/or attending the school at the moment to give inputs about the school

I'm currently working on my application to submit it for its early decision

I was also wondering if the fact that I am a male will increase my chance of admission. Are there any males here that are applying as well?

Hey everyone, I applied for Early Decision and I still have not heard from them. Has anyone else heard back them? I am worried out of my mind because I really need to get into this school because of their anesthesiology program and I am freaking stressed from worrying if i got in or not. anyone know when they'll tell you if you got in or not?

Well, the deadline for early decision is not even up yet. When, I spoke with the nursing advisor, I believe she said that they start making decisions in November up until December.

@Compassion4Others, I was able to fill out all my pre-requisites (even though I had to improvise a little because there was not enough space to put in all my classes for a certain section). But I am pretty sure you'll be fine even if you could not fill out that page all the way as long as they get your official transcript. But you should call them and make sure just to be on the safe side.

P.S I could not PM you because I have not made my first 15 posts yet.

I just received my preliminary evaluation letter. Fingers crossed!

I wish you the best of luck robin!

Thank you! Best of luck to you as well :)

@Robin

What is the preliminary evaluation?

@Robin

What is the preliminary evaluation?

The preliminary evaluation is a letter/document they send you that lists all the classes and requirements you have completed and the requirements that are still outstanding that needs to be completed before you enroll in the nursing program. It's nothing big, just a summary of things you have done and need to do.

oh okay, thanks! & Good Luck hope we all get in! :)

...And the waiting has begun now(for me at least)

Good luck OneChance!

I decided to apply regular decision. Between writing the essay and studying for my TEAS test, I decided to focus more on the TEAS test. I'm glad I did, made a 90%. So most likely I'll be turning in my MCG application after the early decision deadline. I just had to get the TEAS out of the way. :)

Well Done Karamarie!!!!!!:up::yelclap:

i'm planning to take mine in Dec, do you have any tips about the test that can be of help?
