I didnt see any thread for this school so thought i start one
Just wanted to know is there is anyone applying to MCG/GHSU summer 2012 and/or attending the school at the moment to give inputs about the school
I'm currently working on my application to submit it for its early decision
I am a current nursing student at GHSU. The application status is usually correct. My status changed to decision made; notification by mail on a Thursday. I got my acceptance letter on a Monday. It was a BIG envelope and you can see part of the acceptance letter through the window. Best wishes to all of you. I know this is stressful!
Hey, do you remember how long it took for them to decide, after you sent your application in? And do you know if they have rolling admissions?
Could you please tell me more about the CNL program...how does a CNL certification set you aside and what sorts of jobs can you get? Also, how is the curriculum? I hear it is very fast paced, but are you able to retain the information thoroughly and believe it is beneficial?
I actually decided not to apply. I kept putting off the essay and ended up just realizing that I didn't want to go to school that far from me. I did apply to Augusta State as one of my backup schools.
I was most deterred by the volunteer and work experience they are looking for. I work in the medical field and I volunteer but not as much as I have heard from other applicants. I have applied to other schools, though, to cover my bases.
MCG is a great school, but I had to weigh my options getting in and spending time doing that essay.
You still have plenty of time to apply to some schools for Fall 2012. So, its good you heard back from them now than later.
not accepted...they said i dont meet the req for the sat score...they really need to drop that from the req! I'm highly quilified for the school the sat is only thing that is stopping me smh
I am SO sorry to hear that. I know what a stressful time it has been from experience. Don't worry from what I have read you meet the requirements for everything else. You'll have a great chance in other colleges, just keep your head up, keep trying and don't give up. You can always go the associates way if it's you last option. I hope everything will turn out great for you. Do you happen to know what the SAT requirement is that they look for?

I am actually in a MSN (Masters of Science in Nursing) program. I know several current BSN students and most of them had above a 3.5 GPA. I am not sure about their SAT scores.
