Hi Guys! Congrats to all. I also got the great news that I will be starting in Augusta in the Fall as well. So excited... plus its my 27th birthday tomorrow so probably the best present ever! Looking forward to meeting all of you!!!

@sharzae- I made a 1300. I was really happy! If your GPA is higher I do not think you need to worry as much about making a really high GRE. I just knew I would have to have something to counteract.

Does anybody know anything about the rental situation in Augusta? I will be moving with my younger sister and boyfriend and 5 pets in tow.. so I really need a house to rent!

ac2618- I live in Augusta, plenty of places to rent... you should come for a weekend to check the area out. Augusta is very BIG! As for the GPA GRE I think if you have a high GPA you can get by with an okay GRE and vice versa. I am really convinced its the whole package that gets you in. Everyone has different strenths and weaknesses. My GRE wasnt the best but I have a GPA of 3.76 and A's in pre reqs. Also I have my CNA license and I currently work in an ER here in Augutsa, so its eveything all put together... :)

Looking forward to meeting the cohort ( haha) of 2010. Does anyone have facebook that got in..that might want to begin chatting over the summer?

YEAH!!! I am in!!! I called today and OM says that I too am prov accepted. I've been so freaked out over the last couple of months. I will be at Macon. Anyone else from Macon?

Stats:

Bachelor's in Computers GPA 3.7

Master's in Counseling Psych GPA 3.6

MAT 410

Pre-reqs GPA: 3.0

Hi,

I also applied for macon but I haven't heard anything yet. Not even for an interview. I am so nervous but my GPA and MAT are almost exactly the same as yours except I do not have a master's degree. Hopefully I will hear somthing soon. Congrats on getting in!!! May I ask when your interview was?

My interview was on 2/18. Sorry you haven't heard anything. I called OM today. Her number is listed on the website under program coordinator. She was real nice and she can let you know your status.

This is my first post. I am so happy for this forum. I think it will be a great resouce. Is anyone else going to be at the Athens campus for MSN-CNL in August? I recently was notified by phone that I was in (this is my second time applying, I got an interview last year but was ultimately rejected). I am so excited! Also, has anyone yet received anything in the mail from MCG? I am still waiting on the notice to pay the deposit to save my seat and/or for an official acceptance letter. Thanks so much!

Also...For those attending Athens Campus in the Fall, it would be great if we could all "friend" each other on Facebook. I've noticed that the Augusta class that started last year has their own official group. I'm sure if we all started connecting on facebook early we could get something similar set up for Athens. I haven't received an official letter yet. In fact, my status still says Ready for Review! I'm really glad Olivia Mitchell called because I'd still be stressing out!

Ditto, Chenda. Mine also still says ready for review. There are some days when I think I may have imagined getting the call from O.M.. Hopefully the official paperwork comes soon!
