I have applied to MCG's MSN-CNL Program to start in Fall 2010, and I am wondering if current/past students could tell me when (as in what month) they received a phone call for an interview or acceptance/rejection letters.
Additionally, I applied to the Athens Campus program, so will the interview be held in Athens, or will I need to drive to Augusta? Thanks for helping me plan ahead :) I really hope I am the type of candidate they are looking for!

Hey there future CNLs I saw that some of you were wondering what books we used last Fall so I compiled a list (anything to keep from doing homework, lol). Some of the instructors may change so I wouldn't buy any of the books until you talked to OM to verify they will still be using the same books.
You have to have the CPR before classes start. For the summer I would work on the medical terminology, calculations, and reviewing body systems (to help with patho).

It was a CD and I can't find it right now:(
I checked yesterday, and our names are finally in the MCG system. You have to look our student username up through eguide; then you use that username and the year you were born plus the last four of your social as your starting password. You can check your email and finish your financial aid application.
JG2010, the only change that is not shown is that you can wear blue bottoms with the blue top. So now we can wear a white dress (unlikely for me), all white, all blue, or white bottoms/blue top.
Most of the current class bought their scrubs before this policy change and we still wear the white bottoms/blue top. If you are going to go all blue, buy the same brand/style top and bottom or the colors will be slightly different.
Also, the policy states no "scrub pants" but you are wearing a scrub uniform. The wording is funny for some reason, I even called OM about that last summer cause I wanted to know what kind of "pants" to get if we weren't wearing scrubs. I thought they were gonna tell me to have some kind of button/zipper pants but that is not the case.
I bet that as long as your round of shots has started then you should be fine.. either way that sounds like a question you should call and ask Olivia Mitchell.
Im running into the same problem. I emailed OM and she told me to call the Student Health Department. I called them every day this week but all I can get is a voicemail. I also sent them an email but still no response. Let me know if you have any luck finding out anything because Im freaking out.
Mal,
My name isn't in the system yet. Also, I keep checking my bank account and my $100 deposit check has not been cashed yet. Have they cashed your check? I just hope my deposit and confirmation did not get lost in the mail somewhere. According to the letter, the 15 day period is up by this upcoming Tuesday. I better call OM.

I am getting CPR certified in Covington this sat. from 9a.m.-12p.m. if anyone is available for that time I believe there are slots still open. Do you mind me asking how much was the class was because I didn't see a price online for it? Thanks :)
