....Just wondering if anyone (who applied for priority admission to the BSN program at MCG) has heard anything??? I have not and am getting a little anxious!
I feel your pain! I do hope we hear something soon, & that it is GOOD news! I haven't even thought about calling admissions because I thought that everyone pretty much got the decisions at the same time (by mid-march according to the website), so I wasn't worried. Then I found out about all these other people getting their letters, & that is when I started flipping!! Someone told me they thought that they went in alphabetical order after the "first picks" are chosen. Do you know if this is true, or have heard anything like that??? I just wish I knew more about people's grades, etc. who did & didn't get accepted so I could compare & try to calm down!
I haven't called either. I saw the mid-March online too. Ive heard a few people getting letters here and there, so im not sure how they do it. My last name starts with H so I don't know if that is true or not. I haven't heard anything about it. I also don't know anyone elses grades that got in. Just the ones that have posted on here. Everybody seems to have competitive grades! So im just not sure. One of the girls said she called and they told her the 2nd week in Feb. So im hoping we will know something next week!
Yeah, I guess the only thing to do is wait and pray...if it's meant to be it will work out...I just have to convince myself of that. One person I know who got a letter is at the beginning of the alphabet, but like you said, I don't know how they do it, & haven't heard anyone else say that, so that may not be true.
Thats what ive keep telling myself! Pray about it and then leave it to God! If it's meant to be it will, if not it's just not the right time! I am getting to the point where I am so stressed out about it now that it's just bad. It's so hard not knowing! It helps so much being able to talk with yall though! I would have probably gone crazy by now if I didn't have anyone to talk with!
Awww, I know how you feel! It's good to vent to people who understand. Feel free to vent to me anytime! :nuke: I have been going through the same thing for the past few days...to the point of crying over it when I don't even know the decision yet! I know that's dramatic, but it's just hard! I don't even know you, but I will pray for you as well as myself! :nuke:
Thank you!! I know how you feel about being upset over the decision. Its so hard not knowing! Ill pray that next week we all get letters of acceptance!! :) For me it will be such a weight off even just hearing a decision. Even if I don't get accepted ill just feel better knowing. Then ill move on to plan B and hope for the best!
Okay! I have been praying so hard! I just checked my status, & it has been changed to "Decision Made...." So, I hope I will be hearing some GOOD NEWS in a couple of days!!!!! Has anyone else checked their status?!?! I am praying for us all--I feel like we are all in the same boat as it is so stressful & I know we have all worked SO hard as it is NOT an easy program! I will keep you all posted & ya'll please keep me posted!
Wow!! Good luck!! Mine still says under review. I just talked to someone at the office and she told me that they had a final meeting scheduled for today but it got moved to next week. So that the final letters should be going out at the end of the month. I guess you were just one of the lucky ones who got looked at early! Hope you get good news!
THANK YOU!!! I sure hope I do too. I don't know how I am going to handle the anxiety over the next few days! I don't necessarily think I got looked at early. Like I said: I will pray for us all! Maybe the person who told me about the alphabetical order (after first picks) is right because my last name comes way before yours! We cannot lose hope!

Well that helps a lot to hear that you applied to Athens in Oct. I have been so worried that I haven't heard anything yet. I am just really getting nervous the longer it takes the more nervous I get. Hopefully we will all hear good news next week!
