MCC nursing applicants for 2015

Hello everyone!

I've been obsessively reading over the threads for the 2013 and 2014 applicants, but I thought I'd see if anyone will be applying to the Nursing program at Macomb Community College for 2015. I am a transfer student from Texas and will be taking A&P this summer then intro to Nursing (since MCC requires that you take their specific course) and micro in the Fall. I'm so excited to get back into school and was wondering if anyone is following along the same timeline.:up:

Also, does anyone know if you are allowed to bring in water/coffee or a granola bar or something? I can't remember at all. To anyone that has already taken it: It the math all multiple choice or some fill in the blank?

Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Lonnie and I will be applying this Feb. Apparently I will see a lot of you as I am taking the Hesi on Jan. 6th as well. It will be my second time taking it. I took it last year as a trial run but I'm hoping to score higher as I only got a 85. Good luck to everyone!

There is a lot of fill in the blanks. ... I was surprised last yr that there were so many but the problems are pretty easy they ate head on with what's in the book

Thank you I'm aiming for an A when I do take the class, I don't want to ruin any chances by taking it online where I'm confused.

I took the Intro class online last summer and thought it wasn't bad, I got an A in it.

Lonnie do you know of any other people applying, like gpa wise? I agree, I think the gpas are very high this year :/

I don't know of anyone's specific GPA, although I do know of some people who are really counting on the Hesi to help because of their GPA.
