Hello! I havent seen a thread yet for students applying to the 2015 extersnhip at Mayo Clinic so I thought I would start one and see if there is anyone out there who is in the same boat as me!
My name is Kayla and I am student from OHSU (Oregon Health and Science University). I submitted my application today and I am excited but so nervous, even more so than when I applied to nursing school! I hope to meet a few other students who are going through the process too!

I played softball at a junior college and then a red shirted at university for a season during my first undergraduate degree, I miss playing sports so much. It was a great outlet!
Hi guys, I was wondering if you heard any more news about when we are going to hear? I was looking on the threads from previous years and I know they found out February 14th, but I also know some one called to find out when they would know. I noticed some of you seem to have some connections with HR people, would you be comfortable calling and asking? I'm so antsy cause I got another job offer for the summer that I have to respond to soon but Mayo would be amazing!
I have a question Id like you guys honest opinion on. So you know how we had to send in our cpr cards? Well mine expired this month so I sent mine in and the receipt for the cpr recertification class I had signed up for. The class is tonight. Should I email them once I get recertifyed to let them know I did/update my application or should I not since we are probably finding out tomorrow anyways?
I called Mayo yesterday and they said they haven't even had the big meeting to go over all our applications yet, they should be doing that the last week of February, and that we won't know until March! :'( I'm dying to know already!
Whaaaat? Man, I really was excited to find out today. Did they say why it was so delayed?? It was only 2 weeks ago that I talked to their HR and they were certain it'd be by today.
