Hello! I havent seen a thread yet for students applying to the 2015 extersnhip at Mayo Clinic so I thought I would start one and see if there is anyone out there who is in the same boat as me!
My name is Kayla and I am student from OHSU (Oregon Health and Science University). I submitted my application today and I am excited but so nervous, even more so than when I applied to nursing school! I hope to meet a few other students who are going through the process too!

What does everyone know about previous programs and applicants?
I have a question Id like you guys honest opinion on. So you know how we had to send in our cpr cards? Well mine expired this month so I sent mine in and the receipt for the cpr recertification class I had signed up for. The class is tonight. Should I email them once I get recertifyed to let them know I did/update my application or should I not since we are probably finding out tomorrow anyways?
I had that concern as well since my CPR cert was due in early August. I talked to HR back in January and they said it is automatically expected that you will renew your CPR cert. She said you could specify that you will renew it in your resume, but it is not necessary.
