Mayo Clinic Externship 2016 (Summer III)

The Mayo Clinic Summer III application was just opened, so I figured I would start a thread and see if anyone else is planning to apply? It is open until January 2016, so feel free to hop in and comment anytime!

Well, it's almost 10AM in MN and I haven't gotten an email back from Stephanie or Mayo in general...ugh.

For those confused/still waiting - from stephanie:

We have encountered some technical issues with our job application system. Our original intention was to send all correspondence last Friday, which would have put us ahead of the game! Unfortunately, technology has set us back. Human Resources has given their assurance that all correspondence should be out today.

I got selected as an alternate as well :( fingers crossed! Anyone know how many people are on the alternate list?

Stephanie said that one year they selected 25 alternates...so at least that many if not more

I just emailed Stephanie to ask how many they selected as alternates this year, as well as how many alternates on average make it into a position in the program. I also asked her if she could tell me what number I am on the list.. If they tell me anything, I'll post here
