May Nclex takers...come and join hands...

apparently, ive been waiting for other people to start a support group for may nclex takers.....but no....so here i am.....

im taking my nclex on the 7th of may...hopefully, i pass this time. im tired of living a non-RN life......

yeah i have a SSN. i've tested before so they have all my stuff. i'm scared to check and see the "no records returned" too. :( i'm terrified actually...

Some members passed with Ca and didn't see their name on the website until after they received a letter, just because you do not see name on website doesn't mean you have failed

First, I would like to wish you all good luck on your test and my prayers are with you on passing.:bowingpur

Having said that, I unfortunately, am going nuts. I took my test on May 12th (California) and it is now the 9th business day without my name posted. My test stopped at 75. My Kaplan course said that if you come out of there feeling you were hit by a Mack truck you probably did fine... Well I felt a lot of self doubt and guessed on a lot of questions. It seemed like the test knew what I was weak on and pick the questions that I did not spend a lot of time on. It covered mostly MS and no Peds or OB, 3 math, 5-8 SATA, and lots of priority, infection, and delegation. I'm just wondering if I did pass, why hasn't the BON posted my license. Now Im thinking I failed getting my self ready to start studying again.

Does anyone have any answers or suggestions?:banghead:

my girlfriend checked the ca website.She told me it was last updated may 21.I hope that when they update tomorrow,my name is already on the web.hehe

--i just checked the BRN site and right now its...0709, and it shows 21st ..sooo its 2 days behind..ONCE in awhile it does this--either it will update later today, or most likely--tommorrow (sat) it will update for both days.--but remeber that 3 days is MIN, so dont get to discouraged by not seeing it.--there were like 5 or 6 people that i knew that re-tested that week with me and JAXGRL, and only me and JXGRL got our results after 3 days, the others were a bit longer--i think the makx was 9 busiess days, and she was like us..a re-peat test taker whos file was complete (obviously)--she thought the same thing, that i got mine in 3 days and she didnt so she failed--but in the end she passed.

The CA BRN works in mysterious, non logical way--

i still DO NOT understand why they just cant give you the results right away at pearson view ??

i mean its NOT going to change anything ?!

I am the ONE who went through school

I am the one who studied for this tes

I am the one who PAID for this test

I am the one who is stressing

I am the one whos financial livelyhood, relies on this test

Its MY test

give me MY score ??!

...there i go again, ranting...--sorry, this whole "Nclex, RN process" makes no sense.----at all.

i have a "theory"

..Back in the "day" before internet, nurses had to wait like months for the mail to see if they passed or failed. The waiting was like a "badge of honor"--a,...."passage of rights," if you will.

The head honcho at the BRN is an "old school" RN, who says, "sure, we can give them the results instantaneously, or at MOST 3 days" "but....they must undergo ...the passage rights , like we ALL did and ........wait" :)

(whenever i watch finding nemo with my son..that part when nemo is in the tank with the other fish going through his initiatiation...and that big fish says 'he must go through the RING OF FIRE !!!" --i laugh--my analogy is like that--(when i was stressing and waitng, its the "little" things that made me laugh to keep my spirits up) :)

-they just updated a while ago.its now may 22.I tried searching my name but it still "no records returned" I dont want to pressure myself.maybe i'll just check the web next week.Im just gonna browse my saunders so no time will be wasted. Im thinking of passing my reapplication form next week.

..I understand how you are feeling, you know..just relax for the 10 days--no matter the results, you deserve it---then on day 10 mail the app off. -you WILL pass this test.

I took the test on May 9, for CA BRN and still I don't see my name on the website too and it has been 2 weeks already. I am still hoping I will pass. So you're not the only one getting frustrated. Hang in there.

I just check the (California) BRN and it is updated up to yesterday the 22nd. I still have not found my name. Now, I really think its because I failed. This is the worst feeling. I don't know what to do. As I said before all of my classmates that took the test (stopped at 75) got there passing results in 3-4 days. I wish they would just call, post online or send a packet to retake the test so I can move forward.:banghead::crash_com:thnkg:
