May Nclex takers...come and join hands...

Hey everyone, you have all been supportive to ones who have taken the NCLEX this month so far. Hang in there...and ones who didn't pass...pick the books back up and schedule your next test date. You will pass this exam!
I am going on my fourth time taking this exam. I am keeping it rolling, and believe me there have been days that I just felt like giving up, and thinking this career is not for me. But my passion for Nursing, just doesn't allow me to turn my back on it. I just have to keep on. And I am, so I know all of you who don't believe in it right now, can too!
Over the last 2 years I have been reading all of these posts to keep me motivated. And it has really worked!
My big day, once again is May 19. My prayers have kept me strong to keep studying, reviewing and practicing my questions.

Did u get the result yet?

i dont have my results yet, cause i dont have SS#..im still waiting for the mail.. 3-4weeks i guess.. :)

the big day is in 2 days may family! :no: ..i'm not feeling too anxious yet, i feel like i know some stuff but i'm still reviewing with kaplan online study..wish me luck..

it's been 72 hours since i registered at pearson vue and i haven't received my att yet. how long does it usually take before you hear from them? i chose to receive notification in my e-mail...

i registered at pearson last apr 18 and til now i havent recieved my att yet ( waiting tru email too)....that is one of the reason i havent scheduled yet.....planning to take it last day of may....

If you didn`t receive ATT better call pearson vue and ask about it.....i waited myself for it for a month and finnaly i called and found out they sent it by mail 2 days after i registered but was lost in the mail....and as email i got it in 48 hours; so, better call and ask if any of you didn`t receive it in 24 hours by email or 2 weeks by mail

Yeah, this was a problem for about half our class--what kind of email provider do you have ?

the reason i ask is because the email from pearson view, on some providers goes to their spam mail folder --automatically--

im not sure what they did to finally "see" the email but it was there--i did this process three times as we all know and the ATT from peasrson view never took more that 2 hours after i paid

call them and they will point you to how to either...retrieve the email, OR re-send it..

Pearson view UNLIKE the CABRN are freindly, courteous and want to help you.

i got my ATT within a few hours after registering to pearson vue.... i got my ATT in my bulk mail.btw, im a yahoo user. if you are too, then check your bulk mail.

The day before the test dont do any studying-take time for yourself/family- have someone hide your study material so you wont get tempted.

hi there, i just took the nclex last may 10. actually it`s my 4TH TIME already. First and second take got 75 Q`s and failed. 3rd time got 130+ and failed as well. It was a mind breaking event for me. I`ve been dealing with the word failure for almost 1 1/2 yr now. it was not easy really. but i Never lose hope. Everytime i got the results, i will cry for a moment and after that, i`ll find time to be alone just to assure my self not to give up with this nclex battle. Not to mention that i`m surrounded with people who belittles my ambition. Those mean people who keeps on adding more insults to injury everytime i failed the nclex. I graduated with good grades. Most of the people whom i helped in studying during our nursing years already passed the nclex!!!!!!!! they even cant believe that until now i haven`t passed the nclex! failing the nclex 3x makes me question my ability.....my knowledge. But then again i realized maybe God just want me to be more humble and accept things the way HE wants it to be. Anyway, last sat. i ended up with 75 q`s and i have 8 SATA, but i`m worried coz i got like 5 drug calc. i guess those were easy questions. I`m just venting my feelings in here while i`m still waiting for the result.

Hope someone in here can answer my question regarding the 8 SATA that i got (75q`s). if it`s a good indicator that i may pass or not. does anyone in here who got 8 SATA n passed? and since i took it last sat, what`s the earliest day this week can i check the CA brn site for my name?

thanks guys. Pls. pray for me. I`m really scared of failing the 4th time.

PURPLE LADY--

first off-forget those negative people that are putting you down

great nurses before us AND after us have and will fail this test multiple times

its a myth that this test is about intelligence, or knowledge-

the trick is the test itself

I beleive that everyone that has passed nursing school has enough knoweldge, they just got to figure out this test..

DO NOT be hard on yourself--i know, i did that for many months--(just read my early posts)--i was very angry with myself and the test--

realize its the test and not you--keep your head up-

trust me..one day you will look back on all this ! (this is my 3rd day as an R.N.-and all that pain and sadness goes away--it truley does--)

you will see :)
