apparently, ive been waiting for other people to start a support group for may nclex takers.....but no....so here i am.....

im taking my nclex on the 7th of may...hopefully, i pass this time. im tired of living a non-RN life......

im taking my nclex-pn may 6th and im scared to death. im praying i pass.:bowingpur

goodluck! just do your best and do deep breathing throughout the exam, oxygen's good for the brain:wink2:

i'm having a hard time with the ecg changes in arrythmia/dysrhythmia:no:..i just can't remember the changes or i get mixed up like what's the ecg changes in ventricular fibrillation, pvc, etc..how do you deal with it?

i have same problem. i just do not study it. i do not think that nclex has that kind of quistions. i could be wrong.

I should have said, that the R and NPH thing I gave wasnt about mixing the two together....thats the "clear to cloudy, cloudy to clear"

Mine was more specific about the reasons why R is used over NPH, because for some reason the PN test (the one Im studying for), likes to differentiate quite a bit between R and NPH as potential answers.

I'm so nervous right now!!!!!evn if am nt decided 2 study my inner mind couldnt stay anywhr.....some mourning ..i could hear........plz pray 4 me ........for getting some courage nd confidence 2 deal with did test....

Heya, JAXGRL,

next weds-D-Day for us..

what day are you calling it quits on the studying. for me, Sunday night, will be my last "nursing" day. I want monday and tues off. (im going to have the wife hide all my notes and books ) so i dont get tempted.

----what time and where are you testing at ?

I will be at Pearson View Fresno, CA at 0800 am.

its weird, the testing office there is down a LOOOOOOONG narrow corridor (its like 50 feet long and about 4 feet wide)

I always laugh when i walk down it saying to myself (from those of you who have seen the GREEN MILE with TOM HANKS)

I say "my name, jon coffie---walking the mile, walkin the mile"

:)

well, little by little i have been studying this week. taking it easy. i honestly plan to finish the frye's nsg bullets and some of the test questions ive had in my previous review classes. i plan to take sunday off and just go to an event here in jacksonville.

i will be testing at pearsonvue in jacksonville, fl at 0800 on may 7....

good luck to us!!!

if you do a search there was a thread not too long ago discussing this

well guys, i m back, i went into the exams 30min earlier, started 15min earlier with all the confidence i could have, by the time i passed number 75, i tell you, anxiety set in, i took my only break @ number 85 cos my head was so heavy on me, i tell you the best experience is for the system to shut off @75 but mine did not.

i came back, continued till around 98 and i cant know @ what number maybe 100 or so it went blank, and i was like maybe an error cos i ready to go the way down but i was not praying for 265 anyway, and so i shut off, and i wasnt sure of myself if i got the last one wrong or right, all i know is i counted 16 weird SATA a lot of meds out of the blues and a little of evrything.

unfortunately, med is my weakest point and i ever say a way out till i wrote the test, infact some i just ticked anything, u can imagine when the 4 options are meds and u dont know what to pick cos you dont even know the meds, funny.

i was already in tears @number 90, cos this is my 2nd time.

its a good thing that you can atleast remember some of the content of your exam. :)

the past two times i took my exam, i was out of it after. both were 75 q's and the last time i took it i was praying to go beyond 75 but it didnt and i knew right then and there that i failed.

things will change this time. :) we can make this happen. :)
