I have accepted a job at a fantastic hospital, but I'm still sending out applications, because the job I have accepted is not necessarily the job I want and I figure I might as well see if I can get something I will love instead of something that will give me a paycheck.
thats for sure....a sweet paycheck is great, but you wont last long if you dont like it
i accepted an offer for an internship in icu at an awesome (so i hear) north texas hospital. i am so excited.
at our school we are beginning our transition roles (preceptorship), mine is in sicu which began sunday, and i go wednesday and thursday (all 12 hour shifts). transition is amazing.
congraulation to everyone graduating and their new jobs
class of may 2008 rocks:yeah::yeah:
I had three offers at various hospitals all in Medical/Oncology which is what I am passionate about. I took the offer at the hospital I really wanted to be at (knew I wanted to be there before I ever even started nursing school)! The pay was not the best offer, but I really liked the nurses I met there and the nurse manager was someone I really feel I could along with and work well with. I start mid-June and can't wait! It's nice to know I'll be where I want doing what I want.
Couldn't be happier!
Congratulations to all grads!!!

It doesn't hurt when you and your good friend through nursing school are going to work at the same place LOL
I'm trying to get into a post grad programme in Wellington (NZLs capital city).
I really love welly, I really want that job. But I'm freaking out over not getting it, despite not trying to.
Plus, cos I register (hopefully) in July there isn't a lot of post grad programmes that have a mid year intake.
